Li Jiang

 

Li Jiang (male, Han nationality), was born in August 1965. He is a CPC member, a full professor and holder of Phd. of economics. His native place is Huangmei, Hubei Province. Currently he is the CPC Secretary of Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES).

 

 

He graduated from Shanghai Mechanic College (current University of Shanghai for Science and Technology), specializing in Optical Instrument, and obtained his bachelor degree in July 1988. He obtained his master degree of International Politics from Fudan University in July 1997 and then obtained his doctorate of Economics from the same university in June 2003.

Between July 1988 and June 2002, he successively took the positions of Political Counselor of Shanghai Mechanic College and later University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST), the vice Secretary of CPC and the Secretary of the Youth League. During that period of time, he attended the training for youth leaders in Shanghai Education Party School between Oct. and Dec. 2002. Between June 2002 and June 2011, he successively took the positions of the Secretary of Party, the Dean of College of Basic Science, the director of Student Affairs, and the Party Secretary of Administration. Between Sept. 2003 and Jan. 2004, he attended the training for young and middle-aged cadres in Shanghai Party School. He took the positions of the vice Secretary of Party and the Secretary of Commission for Discipline Inspection of USST between April 2011 and Sept. 2012. He took the positions of the vice Secretary of Party of USST and the Secretary of Party of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College between September 2012 and December 2014. From June 2015, he is the Secretary of Party of Shanghai University of Engineering Science.

He has ever elected as the NPC member of the Second Session of Nanhui District and the Eleventh Session of Yangpu District. He has ever won the honorary titles like Shanghai Yucai Award, Excellent Political and Ideological Teacher for Shanghai universities and won the First Prize of Teaching Competition of Millitary Theory for colleges and universities.

His research fields cover National Economics, Educational Economics and Ideological and Political Research.
