ProfessorWolfgang Benschis a foreign professor hired by our university in 2013school year to participate in the teaching and research work. Wolfgang Bensch is a professor of Keele University, Germany, and head of Institute of Inorganic Chemistry. He has engaged in research of solid state chemistry and materials chemistry for more than thirty years. His study fields ranges from new energy materials, catalyst materials, nano-materials, to thin films and so on. He published more than 500 high-level papers in JACS, Angew and other well-known journals. Now he is the evaluation expert of German Research Association, Chairman of Solid State Chemistry and Materials Research Branch of German Chemical Society, and the member of Structural Chemistry Commission of the International Association ofCrystallography. He is mainly engaged in the theoretical and practical study of the synthesis of new battery materials, synthesis of porous framework and low-dimensional structure, new thin film materials, synthesis ofDesulfurizationandhydrogenation catalyst, catalytic mechanism and in-situ tracking of the formation of crystalline substances.
