SUES Students Win the 18th National University Students Smart Car Race East China Division

The 18th National University Students Smart Car Race, East China division competition, concluded successfully on the afternoon of July 24. The East China Competition had more than 350 teams from 77 universities, totaling around 1,200 participants. In the 18th National University Students Smart Car Race East China division, 6 teams of 22 SUES students from School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering won two first prizes, one second prize, and three third prizes, the best performance in SUESs history.



The National University Students Smart Car Race is a creative science and technology competition aims to develop students sense of teamwork while enhancing their practical and innovative skills. With the guiding principle of centered on cultivation, emphasizing engagement, promoting inquiry, and striving perfection, the Competition encourages students to make thorough use of their multidisciplinary knowledge to make inquiries, analyze issues, build mechanical structures, create electronic circuits, create motion controls, and conduct research on the creation and testing of equipment for smart vehicles. The competition is an important platform to stimulate students interest and potential in scientific research and exploration.
