The National University Students Smart Car Race is an exploratory event aiming at providing a platform for college students from all over the country to design and produce model cars that can recognize the road independently. The competition includes theoretical design, actual production, vehicle debugging, on-site competition and other links, requiring college students to form teams, work together, and initially experience the whole process of an engineering research and development project. Since its inception, the competition has been promoted to the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea and other countries and regions. Over the years, the competition has gained great attention worldwide and has already become a global large-scale event with extensive influence and participation.
