Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) is actively involved in international exchanges and cooperation, and has set up partnerships with many prestigious universities, enterprises and international organizations throughout the world.

An increasing number of International scholars joins SUES every year and participate in a series of international projects due to the university’s profound academic profile and fine tradition of industry-supported school-running.

Students are also encouraged to participate in degree programs, semester abroad programs and summer programs in many countries such as the US, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Singapore.

Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education Programs play a significant role in SUES’s strategic development. Three Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education Programs are successively established over the years, namely Sino-French IFA, Institute of Fashion Designer with the International Fashion Academy (IFA), Paris, Sino-Korean School of Multimedia Design with Dongseo University, Korea and Sino-US Engineering School with the Lawrence Technological University, USA.

SUES has exchanges and cooperation with more than 50 universities around the world. Each year SUES hosts over 90 professors and experts from partner universities and enterprises to work on campus in teaching and researching. Meanwhile it sends around 500 students abroad every year to take part in cooperative programs. In 2014, SUES accepted more than 900 foreign students.

SUES is devoted to seizing every opportunity to cultivate talented students with global vision so as to become a modern and international institution of higher education in the future.
