Research Fields
Contemporary Art research has characteristics of temporal, academic and forward-looking. The Research Institute of Contemporary Art is based on the College of Art and Design of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, and will integrate the theoretical resources at home and abroad, focus on interdisciplinary of Philosophy, Poetry and Art, investigate problems in the development of contemporary art, and explore new path for the academic respects of contemporary art. In addition, it will be committed to establish new language, new styling, new vision and new ideas, and will also strive to achieve the creative transformation of contemporary art conception, create new artistic language system, and lead the research direction of contemporary art.
