Features of this Major: in reliance on the aviation enterprises in Shanghai, this major is characterized by the close connection of production, study and research; with the civil aviation industry development and location of the national aircraft manufacturing base in Shanghai, we closely track the demand of aircraft maintenance personnel and educate the students with solid foundation of theoretical knowledge; the students are expected to master the professional knowledge, including: aircraft structure, aircraft systems, aircraft electrical systems, avionics, engine theory, aircraft engines and attachment system, fault diagnosis technology, etc. The students are competent in the research, analysis and resolution of general engineering problems with the professional scope and strong hand-on ability. The graduates will become senior engineering technical innovation talents to assume the front-line positions of the aviation industry.

Employment orientation: graduates of this Major will engaged in aircraft and equipment maintenance and repair, on-site production organization, quality management or else, and will work in airlines, airports, aviation manufacturing enterprises and other units.
