A three-year vocational college (science students are admissible to this Major)
Features: this major is a professional-oriented major directed to the aviation companies and characterized by cooperation education. Engineering practice, technological innovation, vocational skills and quality education of other aspects are emphasized in this Major. This Major is set up to meet the needs of civil aviation transport security, large civil aircraft manufacturing & service; the students are expected to: master the professional knowledge, such as aircraft structure and system, aviation electronics, avionics, engine accessories and aircraft type, fault diagnosis technology, etc.; be well trained professionally; be able to engage in an aircraft ground inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.; be relatively skilled in use of aircraft maintenance manuals; have outstanding practical skills and vocational and technical ability. Graduates of this Major are expected to become the senior professional technical talents and assume the first-line maintenance positions of airlines.
Main courses: engineering drawing, mechanical engineering, mechanical principles, mechanical design, electrical technology, electronics technology, automatic control theory, engine theory, fundamentals of aerodynamics, structures and system of aircraft, aerospace electronics, engine accessories and models, fault diagnosis technology, aircraft , avionics and corresponding practice teaching, etc.
Employment orientation: graduates of this Major will engage in aircraft maintenance, repair and other production work in airlines, airports and other work units.
