4-year undergraduate program; Bachelor of Engineering Features: this Major is a pilot major approved by the Ministry of Education under the “Excellent Engineer Education & Training Program” and is supported by a national engineering practice education center. This Major is set on the background of modern fashion industry, and is directed to the modern fashion design and advanced manufacturing technology. The School strengthenscross-subject clustering of garment engineering technology, design art and other disciplines, and emphasizes building of such main core abilities as innovation and practice. On the basis the close cooperation between production and research, the School takes practical training asmainstay of teaching innovation, adopts the teaching methods integrating clothing design, garment structure plate making, garment processing technology and garment production & management as a whole, and highlights the knowledge instruction and capacity-building simultaneously so as to improve students’overall quality. After the third year, students are divided into three sub-specialties: clothing design and technology, modern clothing engineering and fashion brand.
