Features: this Major is targeted to advanced manufacturing industries. Based on the enhancement of students’ overall quality, the School takes training  occupational ability as the core task, orientate their education to the enterprises’ needs, focuses on cross-subjecting clustering of automation technology, system integration technology, detection technology, computer with information technology, emphasizes the coordinative development of knowledge, ability and quality, and strengthens training students with such core professional abilities as application of gas, liquid and electric control system, application ability of computer and information technology, application of automatic control and detection technology, assembly and maintenance of electromechanical equipments. Students are expected to be cultivated into knowledge-based and development-oriented technical professionals who can solve practical problems in repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipments.

Employment Orientation: this Major is targeted to the work in the fields of electromechanical technologies; graduates may engage in installation & commissioning, maintenance, renovation and transformation of mechanical and electrical equipments, other technical and production management work in such industries as automotive, steel, shipbuilding, printing, medicine, rail transportation, processing and manufacturing; they may also engage in marketing, technical services, planning & acquisition, assessment and acceptance related to electromechanical industries.
