Automation (Automotive Electronic Engineering) (Sino-US Cooperative School)

This Major is a training program cooperatively conducted by our university and American Laurence Polytechnic University. The courses is designed in accordance with the American Society of Engineering and Technology (ABET) certification program. Chinese and American teachers jointly undertake the teachings according to the requirements of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools. Chinese party issues diplomas and graduation certificates, and American party issues the realistic diplomas. Students who have completed the required courses is entitled to study in American university in the fourth year and complete the required courses. In addition to the diploma and certificate issued by SUES, the qualified students will obtain the bachelor degree certificate certified by ABET and issued by American Lawrence Institute of Technology. Excellent graduates may study in Laurence Polytechnic University for master's and doctoral degree.

  

This Major passed the Sino-foreign cooperative education assessment by the Ministry of Education in 2014, and passed the Shanghai Sino-foreign cooperative education certification in 2015. By introducing the US advanced teaching ideas, methods and resources, the teachers strengthen the cross-subject clustering of automation technology, control technology, computer technology and strive to cultivate students into high-quality engineering talents who: solidly grasp basic knowledge of automotive electronics, electrical control technology, automotive theory and structure; have certain international perspectives; have solid theoretical foundations; are proficient in use of foreign language.

  

Main courses: Engineering Mathematics, Circuit Analysis, Analog Electronic Technology, Digital Electronic Technology, Automatic Control Theory, Modern Control Theory, Single Chip Microcomputer Application Technology, Modern Power Electronics, Engineering Introduction, High-Level Language Programming A, Engineering Cost Analysis, Engineering Automotive Electronics, Automotive Electronics Control Technology, Embedded Systems and Applications other theoretical and practical teachings.

  

Employment Orientation: in the automation and automotive industry, graduates of this Major can engage in the R & D, design, simulation, testing and management, automotive electronics; at the institutes/ enterprises related to transportation, research communications, instrumentation, they can also take on testing and automatic control, intelligent measurement and control, system integration, automotive electronic control, automotive electronics, analysis, testing and sale of automotive electrical products and other related work.
