Features: oriented to the needs of modern information technology industry, this Major focuses on the disciplinary cross-subject among computer science, automation, other related professional knowledge. By adhering to the composite talent training concept of “Computer + X” and “theoretical study + engineering training + new Technology application” training mode, the School cultivates students into high-quality engineering talents who are competent at intelligence computing, data analysis, digital media processing, embedded and mobile development, network interconnection and other related work and have strong practical and innovative capabilities.

  

This Major is a “3+1” double bachelor degree program jointly conducted by our university and Griffith College of Ireland; excellent students may obtain double bachelor degrees of the two universities.

  

Main courses: High-level Language Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Digital Circuits, Computer Theory, Algorithms And Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Theory, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Compiler Theory, Software Engineering, Java Programming Theory and practice teachings.

  

Employment Orientation: with broad prospects for employment, graduates of this Major can engage in the computer software design system design, development and maintenance of embedded systems for enterprise and institutions and in computer network management and maintenance work.
