4-year undergraduate program; Bachelor of Engineering
Features: this Major is a major under Shanghai Education Highland Project.
This Major is a training program cooperatively conducted by our university and American Laurence Polytechnic University. The courses is designed in accordance with the American Society of Engineering and Technology (ABET) certification program. Chinese and American teachers jointly undertake the teachings according to the requirements of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools. Chinese party issues diplomas and graduation certificates, and American party issues the realistic diplomas. Students who have completed the required courses is entitled to study in American university in the fourth year and complete the required courses. In addition to the diploma and certificate issued by SUES, the qualified students will obtain the bachelor degree certificate certified by ABET and issued by American Lawrence Institute of Technology. Excellent graduates may study in Laurence Polytechnic University for master's and doctoral degree.
This Major passed the Sino-foreign cooperative education assessment by the Ministry of Education in 2013, and passed the Shanghai Sino-foreign cooperative education certification in 2015. By relying on information and communication engineering disciplines, this Major tracks electronic engineering and information engineering cutting-edge technology, focuses on cross-subject clustering of electronic and information engineering and communication technology, computer technology and microelectronics technology and other disciplines.
