Research Fields
Professor Zhao Xinxin focuses his academic research on materials for catalyst of ammonia synthesis, cathode of Li ionic battery, electrode of Li-air battery and Spintronics. His research work is centered on exploring the influence of surface (interface) interactions and electronic structures of single crystal surfaces and heterostructures on energy storage, catalytic activity and performance of electric devices , and applying fundamental understanding of mechanisms to design new materials basing on density functional theory.
