Since its inception in 2002, the Free-L Street Dance Club has adhered to the principle of guiding and inspiring university students to love street dance, understand street dance culture correctly, and enhance physical fitness. It is dedicated to promoting the prosperous development of extracurricular street dance activities among college students, discovering and nurturing well-rounded talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics, and labor, making positive contributions to the positive dissemination of street dance culture. Over the past two decades, the club has won numerous honors, including the title of a star club at the university level and a four-star club; it has successfully organized over 300 events with more than 1,000 participants and has won over 20 awards. Since its founding, the Free-L Street Dance Club has opened its doors to students across the campus who are passionate about street dance, attracting nearly 300 students to participate annually, with a fixed membership of 60. Currently, the club comprises five dance groups: Breaking, Popping, Hip-hop, Urban, and Jazz, as well as specialized interest groups such as Dancehall and K-pop, each led by a team leader responsible for instruction and teaching.
