Since its establishment in 2006, the Robotics Society has been committed to nurturing and expanding students' vision and potential in the field of robotics, aiming to enhance their innovative practical skills and boost their competitiveness in the job market. The society has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Outstanding University Club of Shanghai. To date, it has successfully organized over 600 student teams to participate in various academic competitions, securing more than 800 awards.
The society is supported by a dedicated team of 10 instructors, 8 of whom are Party members. This team, predominantly composed of young faculty members with doctoral degrees, provides interdisciplinary guidance. Each year, the Robotics Society takes on nearly half of the university's competitions that are ranked in academic evaluations. It actively engages in high-profile events such as the Challenge Cup, Innovation Cup, and RoboMaster, continuously achieving new milestones in innovation, entrepreneurship, and educational outcomes.
