The 28th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition Shanghai Regional Final Successfully Held at SUES

On June 7, the 28th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition Shanghai Regional Final & the 6th Shanghai Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition was successfully held at SUES. The competition was organized by the Shanghai Regional Organizing Committee and hosted by SUES. It brought together nearly 800 teams from over 30 universities and colleges in Shanghai, featuring 11 competition events covering cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and intelligent driving.

 


On the competition floor, intelligent robots competed head-to-head. Quadruped robots nimbly avoided obstacles to complete logistics delivery missions; UAVs and ground robots collaborated to identify and locate targets; humanoid and lunar exploration robots carried out interstellar mining, precisely collecting and transporting mineral resources; unmanned vehicles performed high-precision visual navigation; smart pharmacy robots shuttled through sample transfer missions; and brain-controlled emergency robots enabled real-time operation of intelligent vehicles to complete complex actions. The participating students repeatedly refined their programs and debugged hardware and software on-site, truly experiencing the joy of scientific and technological innovation. Their outstanding and impressive performance fully demonstrated the innovative and practical spirit of college students in the new era.

 


This competition serves as an important platform for SUES to implement its Three-wings collaborative education concept. By using the competition as a bridge, SUES facilitates exchanges between universities and between academia and industry, adheres to the principles of promoting teaching and innovation through competition, continuously improves the talent cultivation model for scientific and technological innovation, deepens educational outcomes, and strives to cultivate high-quality reserve talents for innovation, thereby consolidating the talent foundation for the steady development of the technology innovation industry.
