The Audio-visual Friendly Initiative was officially released with the aim of fostering an inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered global digital audiovisual order. It calls for upholding a people-centered approach to digital human rights and strengthening global digital inclusion through audiovisual accessibility and friendliness; embracing shared global values and responsibilities to build a diverse and collaborative development framework; and deepening international cooperation and interdisciplinary innovation to nurture a sustainable global audiovisual ecosystem.

The International Audio-visual Arts Carnival was jointly organized by China Media Group and Shanghai Municipal Government. Focusing on cross-sector integration among audiovisual technology, arts and culture, and commercial consumption, the event seeks to promote the coordinated upgrading of Shanghai’s audiovisual industry and cultural-tourism economy. SUES will continue to build on its disciplinary strengths, actively engage with major cultural and technological innovation projects in the city, deepen interdisciplinary innovation and practice, and participate proactively in international cultural and artistic exchanges. In doing so, SUES will contribute its expertise and ideas to the development of digital audiovisual technologies and the integration of science, technology, and the arts.
