In closely connecting this Major with the industry needs – the school-running process, SUES has developed this Major into specialties of “one body, two wings”, namely, marketing constitutes the main body of this Major, and clothing and automotive marketing constitutes the two wings; with collaborative development, students can choose their specialty based on their individual characters, preferences and expertise.

Marketing specialty aims to cultivate students into senior application-oriented marketing management talents with universal adaptability and enormous employment opportunities. In regards to the specialty, teachers not only train students with solid marketing skills and qualities, but also provide students with specialized course modules concerning such fields as electricity supplier, cruise and tourism, clothing, automobile, etc., guide their study through interest so as to increase the extensive industry knowledge reserve and enhance students’ individual competitiveness. Students can: grasp the professional theoretical knowledge, methods and skills marketing; master the basic theories and methods of management science and economics; have the abilities of market research and analysis, marketing planning and market development. At the same time, they have the humanistic spirit, scientific literacy and integrity quality as well as the internationalization vision and innovative spirits.

Clothing marketing fully reflects the characteristics of modern garment industry, and highlights characteristics of brand management, season fashion, communication and display. Teacher train students with the abilities relating to clothing marketing planning, market development, brand management, market forecast and clothing business management, clothing network marketing, etc. Through industry-academy cooperation, practice and innovation, students are expected to be trained into high-quality compound marketing management talents: have the knowledge and abilities related to management, economy, marketing, clothing and e-commerce; can adapt to changes in business needs of domestic and international apparel marketing.

     Automobile marketing centers around the modern automotive service market, and deals with operational rules of automotive products sales and service links; students are trained to master the operating means and manner in the process of automobile trade and automobile marketing, learn the main courses of marketing and automotive service engineering, grasp various expertise needed in the entire automotive marketing; students are thus trained into high-quality application-oriented marketing talents who: are suitable for the needs of the market; have the background of professional automotive knowledge; are capable of marketing of automotives and its parts and components and related services.
