On March 12th, president Ding Xiaodong led a SUES delegation to University of Ulsan (UOU)in South Korea, a cooperative university of SUES on an exchange tour, visiting SUES teachers and students of school of automobile engineering who were on their first overseas internship program at UOU.
President Ding Xiaodong told students that they should doubly cherish the internship opportunity by striving to learn the advanced technology and management expertise from South Korean companies in a diligent and fearless manner and regard the overseas internship as an important experience in life. All the SUES teachers and students at UOU expressed that they would live up to the expectation of SUES leaders by making a great success of the overseas internship tasks.
During the visit, president Ding Xiaodong held a friendly talk with, Li Zhe, president of UOU. Moreover the SUES delegation also made a field trip to some laboratories and research institutes of the engineering school of UOU and discussed the alternatives to future cooperation with UOU. This visit laid a solid foundation for further collaboration between SUES and UOU.

Over the recent years, Ulsan metropolitan city has drawn worldwide attention by jumping to second among Asian cities in terms of speed of growth after promptly adjusting development strategy based on global economy. Founded by Hyundai Group, UOU has played a significant role in serving the local economy, with its educational philosophy and curriculum setup quite similar to those of SUES. Over the recent two years, UOU and SUES have launched the international cooperation and exchange programs in cultivating talents by mutually sending students on internship programs, all of which are going on smoothly.
