In order to promote our school’s “Twelve Five” internal construction, improve effectiveness of cooperation between China and Korea, summarize the experiences of the past ten years’ cooperation, study the development orientation of the latest ten years in cooperation between China and Korea, and explore development approaches, President and Professor Ding Xiaodong and staff went to Korea Dongseo University to hold a meeting of project joint management committee of “Talent Development of China Korea Multi-Media Design College” on March 10. 
That afternoon, President Ding and staff attended the opening ceremony for Grade 2012 students of China Korea Multi-Media Design College who are going to study in Korea. Zhang Jiguo, the President of Dongseo University, first addressed a warm welcome speech to President Ding and students of the college who are going to learn in Korea for a year. President Zhang said that the Multi-Media Design College of Dongseo University will provide the students with the quality of education by means of advanced educational environment and excellent teaching faculty. President Ding expressed thanks in his speech to President Zhang, International Communication Department, professors of the university, who made preparations for our students, and made sincere wishes for the students, hoping them to cherish the opportunity of studying in Korea and believing that they are sure to gain good results in Korea. After the ceremony, a meeting was held by the project joint management committee in the meeting room of Korea Dongseo University. The members of the committee at the meeting are: President and Professor Ding Xiaodong, Professor Qian Huimin, Head of International Communication Department, Professor Tang Youcun, Dean of Sino-Korea Multi-Media Design College, Associate Professor Cheng Yuhuai, Professor Zhang Jiguo, President of Korea Eastwest University, Professor Cao Zhengcheng, Vice President, Zheng Chan, Head of International Communication Department, Song Chenghuan, Head of Plan Research Department, Professor Jin Zhongqi, Professor Jin Rongqi, and some teaching staff from our school and Korea Eastwest University. At the beginning of the meeting, the two cooperative sides at first introduced to the management committee the results of cooperation between two schools, which were highly recognized by the two presidents and the committee. Later the committee launched a detailed discussion as to developing goal orientation of the next ten years and blazing a new trail of international communication. President Ding Xiaodong, Director of the committee, believed that the cooperation between two schools was extremely successful and a deep discussion of two sides was highly necessary as to the development of the next ten years. President Zhang Jiguo expressed that they valued very much the cooperation with our school and hoped to explore more cooperative possibilities based on these ten years’ cooperation. At the meeting, the two schools had a very friendly interaction as to cooperation development and future cooperation opportunities. 
On March 11, President Ding arranged for a meeting with the student representatives of undergraduates and postgraduates who are studying in Dongseo University. The students expressed their sincere thanks to the college and school for the excellent international educational resources and talked about their feeling and experiences in Korea and provided very good advice for the future development of China Korea Multi-Media Design College. President Ding and staff also visited 3D technology testing center, which is related to subject development of China Korea Multi-Media Design College, IAI Research Academy, DIDIC Research Academy, Hai Yuntai Visual Design College, saw the advanced technology and equipment of digital media, and the academic achievements of our school’s graduates who studied for the Master’s and Doctor’s Degree. President Zhang Jiguo introduced t President Ding Xiaodong the current situation of development of Dongseo University and future plan. President Ding expressed his approval for the advanced educational idea of Dongseo University and a strong interest in the reform ideas of Design College. He hoped that China Korea Multi-Media Design College would accelerate the pace of exploring excellent resources of Dongseo University, launch an edge cutting reform and develop into an international college with distinctive features and outstanding outcomes.
