On the afternoon of February 25, President Ding Xiaodong, Vice President Cheng Weiming led heads of departments and colleges and paid a visit to new property park of Cao He Jing Development Park in Song Jiang. Han Jianxin, Secretary of Party Committee of Song Jiang new property park development Ltd., Ding Guikang, General Manager, Wu Jianming, Vice General Economist, Du Yumei, Supervisor of Liaison Center, attended the meeting. The two sides had a discussion on how to integrate resources, enhance effectiveness, and realize double win from cooperation. The leaders of Song Jiang New Property Park warmly welcomed our school’s leaders and made a detailed introduction to the park’s background and project’s status quo. The Park is the first model base of “cooperation between districts, connection between brands” authorized by the municipal government and has made remarkable achievements in industry upgrade, development transition, value increase and maintenance of national property and collective property, land saving and effectively using and so on. The Park also introduced the measures of talent forefront and said that the Park and universities all have space for development in internship and employment, technological innovation entrepreneurship, culture co-construction, cooperation of production, study and research, abide by the principle of open education, open park, resource sharing, internal connection and external expansion, build a platform and push forward to the top design. The cooperation between two sides would certainly be successful. President Ding Xiaodong introduced our school’s education history and subject characteristics, explained in detail our school’s educational pattern of “Three Semester Five Stages”, “Practice in combination with Theory”, and pointed out that the park accepted our students for cooperative education in production and study, which not only benefited the talent development of universities, but also help the enterprises solve the problems of talent shortage. The university cooperates with the park in developing postgraduates, which may help the enterprise solve technological difficulties, and make postgraduate development coincide with the demands of industry. Our university technology park launches “cooperation between districts” with Song Jiang New Property Park, which can help integrate resources, realize double win, establish professor and expert working station to serve the enterprises in the park and make use of the resources in the park to realize the goal of transferring the research result to production in order to fully represent the goal of university serving the social economic development. The two sides also discussed some specific cooperation issues and reached mutual understanding ultimately.
