On the morning of February 8, the second work day after the Spring Festival, Teng Jianyong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Ding Xiaodong, President, Sun Peilei, Shi Jianyong, Vice Presidents, led the leaders of President’s office, Students’Department, Aviation Transportation College, Flying College to go to Shanghai Airlines Company (abbreviated to SAC below), our cooperation enterprise of production, study and research,for a communication meeting, and discussed over cooperation deepening between enterprise and school. Feng Xin, General Manager of SAC, Cheng Guowei, Secretary of the Party Committee, Lu Haiping, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice General Manager Han Ying, Tang Yongfa, Mao Weimin, and leaders of relevant departments attended the meeting. Feng Xin, General Manager, first represented the Party Committee of SAC to show a warm welcome to our school leaders, and expressed gratitude to our school for the development of so many excellent talents for the company. When talking about the school’s devotion to developing high-quality applicable talents, the leaders of SAC expressed their approval and recognition and praised our school for the emphasis on moral education, saying that the high quality of our graduates has laid an excellent foundation for selection of high management staff, and hoping that under a new round of agreement of cooperation for production, study and research, in order to strengthen the development of professional talents such as pilots and flight attendants, SAC and SUES would have a much closer cooperation in production, study and research.
The school leaders pointed out that SUES is a local university which serves local economic development demands, develops education for both subject and industry and always devotes to developing applicable talents. These years our development not only benefited from the strong support of enterprise for the school, but also cooperation between enterprise and school. As one of the closest partners with our school and one of the most remarkable enterprises in cooperation results, SAC has made active efforts for helping present our education characteristics. These years, the school insists on providing human and intelligent support for local economic society development, combines “what the government thinks, what the enterprise needs and what the school can do”, further presenting the school’s education characteristics. The school leaders hoped that the two sides could take advantage of building Flying Technology Experiment Training Basis, carry out the newly-signed agreement of production, study and research, abide by the principle of resource sharing and advantage complement, launch an overall cooperation with SAC in aspects like employee training, provide talents for SAC from relevant majors of Aviation College and Flying College up to each subject of other colleges, and make bigger contributions for talent development in aviation industry, especially aviation economy development of East China. As the first multi-fold investment business operation airlines in China, SAC consistently sticks to the policy of “Safety first, Passengers priority, excellent service, pursue excellence” and has gained very good economic benefits and social benefits by means of good safety records, high-quality service standards, advanced enterprise culture and effective management and operation. In the future the cooperation between SAC and SUES will transfer from the simple development of aviation talents in the past to development of more subjects and professional talents, enrich cooperation levels and fields, elevate the cooperation quality, and finally realize the double-win of both the enterprise and school.
