After five hours of intense tournament, our university’s teams won one first prize, one third prize and one excellence prize of language class.

Leadership of Engineering Training Center attached great importance to and gave great support to the preparatory work of 2014 College Students Odyssey of the Mind Olympic Tournament. They not only provided the training venues, tools and facilities but also selected senior guiding teachers Huang Lixin and Zhang Jingzhi to guide the participating team; the two teachers gave the participating students guidance on the aspect of practical operation, defense language proficiency and pre-competition psychology. During the preparation and tournament, Automotive Engineering School and the Logistics Department provided great assistance and made contribution for the good achievements of participating students.

As a tournament tutor, teacher Huang Lixin put a great deal of effort into the guidance, and even gave up personal rest time. During the critical period before tournament, she even lived together with students. On the day of tournament,  Huang Lixin had just undergone a surgical operation and her wound was not healed, but she insisted on giving on-site guidance and played an important role for the good grades in this Tournament.
