Research Fields
It’s been more than a decade that Prof. Tian has been committing herself to the researches on comparative study of management across cultures of enterprises and enhancement of sensitivities in intercultural communications. As a specialized professor in teaching class by only English, Tian has also dedicated a great deal of energy to sharpen her skills and techniques in promoting such classes by involving foreign teachers and international students in the classroom. In 2012, one of Tian’s classes taught by only English has been officially honored to be awarded the title of “Model Class Taught by Only English in Universities in Shanghai”, which has dramatically inspired some teachers and students to gear up for challenges from globalization in Shanghai.
