Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. This program is a pilot project of the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program of the Ministry of Education, a program of Shanghai Education Highland Construction. It has passed the accreditation of the engineering education program of the Ministry of Education. The program is closely integrated with the development needs of the networked intelligent operation of railway transportation and adopts the 3+1 joint training mode of industry-university following the training standards of international engineering education certified engineers. It is committed to cultivating multi-functional composite talents with high competitiveness, innovation ability, and international vision in the industry. The program takes modern railway transportation planning, design, and transportation management theories and methods as the core. It focuses on the integration of management, economics, statistics, safety engineering, human factor psychology, and other multidisciplinary disciplines as well as the application of big data, artificial intelligence, virtual simulation, and other advanced technologies. The program highlights the positioning of networked and intelligent railway transportation organization and safety management and focuses on cultivating students' ability to solve complex engineering problems in the field of railway transportation.
