Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. This program was newly established in 2018 by the Ministry of Education and it was the first domestic coating engineering undergraduate talent training program. The graduates will be equipped with a professional background in advanced functional materials. Being talents in coating engineering, the graduates serve in the coating industry and enterprise, master chemistry, engineering and natural science and other aspects of the basic theory and knowledge, master coatings, especially new coating design, synthesis, alteration, coating, and other aspects of professional knowledge structure. At the same time, the graduates will pay attention to new products, new technologies, and new technology theory and practical ability. Using the 3+1 training model (the industry and the enterprise joint training model), the students in this program will spend three years in school learning basic theoretical knowledge in the field of chemistry and materials. They then spend one more year in the coating enterprise engineering practice. This program aims to cultivate engineering application talents who meet the basic requirements of engineering education.
