Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. This program is among the first batch of pilot majors of the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program of the Ministry of Education, and the major of Shanghai Education Highland Construction. Funded by the Shanghai High-Level Characteristic Development Project, it is among the first batch of Youth Practice Workstations of Shanghai and has one National-level Engineering Practice and Education Center. There are two master's degrees in this program: the master's degree in Transportation Engineering and the master's degree in Transportation Engineering. This program is guided by the needs of the industry, takes the relevant theory and technology of railway transportation signal and control as the mainline, integrates the control theory, communication technology, and computer technology, and focuses on the uniqueness and intersectionality of the discipline. In terms of talent cultivation, we implement the training model of the 3+1 industry-university collaboration, i.e., three years of study in the university and one year of engineering practice and graduation design in enterprises. Focusing on operation safety, it highlights the multi-standard test and maintenance, fault diagnosis methods, and technologies of the urban railway transportation signal system. Graduates have the ability of integrated thinking, engineering reasoning, problem-solving, and organization management. It aims to train high-level engineering talents with a solid foundation, broad vision, outstanding engineering literacy, qualified personal qualities, and professional ethics.
