Course Description: The content of this course is the basic theory and method of VLSI design. By learning the curriculum, students will understand the method and technique of today's VLSI system design; master the basic structuremodels and characteristics of MOS device; understand the manufacturing process of integrated circuitRecognize the relationship between design and process as well as interface; master the characteristics and methods of integrated circuit design; grasp the main IC design technology; establish the concept of system integration; establish the system modular design thinking; know the basic layout of the integrated circuit; understand the composition and the design process of integrated circuit design system. The topic of VLSI is very important in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering; you need to know this material whatever your specialty is since all modern electronic systems are based on the principles covered in this course.
