On April 3, The RoboMaster 2026 University League (Shanghai Station) opened at SUES in Songjiang District, Shanghai. The competition is part of the China University Robot Competition. A total of 37 teams from universities in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hubei, and other regions are participating.

As one of the key events under China University Robot Competition, the RoboMaster University League is a global robotics competition and academic exchange platform created for technology enthusiasts. Since its launch in 2013, it has upheld the mission of “Honoring youth, empowering thought, and serving young engineers worldwide to become practical dream-chasers”. The league is dedicated to cultivating comprehensive talents with engineering thinking and widely disseminating the appeal of technology and the spirit of innovation to the public.

The RoboMaster University League is typically initiated by local academic institutions and host universities, attracting teams from neighboring institutions. It aims to promote regional academic exchange in robotics technology, foster a strong innovative atmosphere, and support local scientific and technological development.

The 2026 competition is guided by China Association of Higher Education, the Strategic Consulting Center of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundation. It is organized by the Organizing Committee of China University Robot Competition and People’s Government of Songjiang District, Shanghai, with SUES serving as the host.

The RoboMaster University League (Shanghai Station) has been held at SUES for four consecutive years. Over this period, the venue has hosted over 100 matches, witnessed the growth of more than a thousand young engineers, and welcomed tens of thousands of enthusiastic spectators. The legacy of the University League is now deeply rooted in Shanghai’s Songjiang District.
