
Recently, the national finals of the two practical competition tracks of the 16th National College Students E-Commerce “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Three Innovations Competition”) have concluded successively. Students from SUES stood out in both tracks, claiming the National First Prize in the Cultural Tourism E-commerce Practical Competition and the National Second Prize in the Live-streaming E-commerce Practical Competition. Their outstanding achievements demonstrate the effectiveness of the SUES’ education in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Recognized as an A-level authoritative academic competition by the Ministry of Education, the “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Competition draws participation from hundreds of thousands of teams across more than 1,000 universities nationwide each session, leading to fierce competition at the national final stage. The Cultural Tourism E-commerce Practical Competition was held in Lingshui, Hainan from July 19 to 21. The interdisciplinary team “Chuanghai Alliance” from SUES stood out amid fierce competition. Comprising students majoring in Tourism Management, Automotive Engineering, Transportation Management and Aviation Services (Team members: Huang Xinrong, Zhou Jiale, Zhou Yunfei, Xiao Bing, Zheng Chen), the team spent six months refining their project Reset with Mind-TBTI Tourism Personality-Driven Scenic Spot Recommendation Mechanism and Transformation Practice. Targeting the pain point of precise matching within the cultural tourism industry, the project establishes an intelligent recommendation system based on user psychology and completes commercial verification at low cost. It fully connects theoretical implementation with market transformation. Thanks to its high innovation and practical value, the project won wide acclaim from judges and was awarded the National First Prize.

The National Finals of the Live-streaming E-commerce Practical Competition concluded on July 17, bringing together 93 teams from 87 universities nationwide for head-to-head competition. The team “Pangpang Pingping”, consisting of postgraduate students majoring in Business Administration (Team members: Yan Bo, Leng Zhen, Xu Jingchun, Cao Yujiao, Jiang Jiaqin), claimed the National Second Prize with their project Chuang Xiaozi - A “Three-Wings” Live-streaming E-Commerce Model Powered by AI, Ecological Interconnection and Viral Marketing. Integrating artificial intelligence, ecological operation and viral marketing, the project addresses the deficiencies of traditional live-stream operation. It combines brand promotion with social responsibility to build a new sustainable e-commerce operation model.
For a long time, School of Management Studies has integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of talent cultivation, continuously improved the scientific and innovative talent training system, and built a practical platform that promotes learning and innovation through competitions. The outstanding achievements in this competition serve as solid evidence of the School’s efforts to deepen teaching reform and cultivate high-quality applied talents. Going forward, the School will further consolidate the foundation of innovation and entrepreneurship training, encouraging more students to leverage their expertise, embrace innovation, and showcase their youthful vitality on the stages of various national-level competitions.
