On October 18-25, hosted by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and Teaching Steering Committees of Higher Institute of Ministry of Education in the field of Material, Machinery and Industrial Engineering, and co-organized by Chinese HeatTreatment Society, “The 6nd Material HeatTreatment Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Chinese College Students” was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There were 190 teams, consisting of more than 500 students and teachers, from Harbin Institute of Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China University of Petroleum, Northeastern University and Central South University, etc., participated in the contest.

School of Material Engineering of SUES selected 3 teams to participate this competition. In the Finals, Students Wang Tiancheng, Zhang Binglin and Tu Zhihao won the first prize;Xu Zhiying, Ren Qiyue, Wang Yusong and Fan Qiyu obtained the second prize; Fu Jiayun, Ma Yufang and Xu Mengchen got the third prize. Teachers Liu Yanhui, Wang Yixue and Li Zhongwen took the Prize of Outstanding Advisers; SUES was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award.
