The Department of Physical Education mainly undertakes the tasks of public physical education teaching, scientific research of physical education, organization of mass sports activities and training of high-level sports teams.There are 42 faculty and staff members: 3 professors, 12 associate professors,23 lecturers and 4 staff.

SUES sports venues cover a total area of 93951 square meters, with 14793 square meters of indoor venues, outdoor venues of 79158 square meters, and with site planning of a track and field, football, table tennis room, gymnastics room, gym, tennis court, volleyball court, golf practice teaching space to meet the target of as many as nearly 20000 teachers and students of the school teaching, training and exercise activities.
