With main research interests in business administration and public administration, Professor Shi has presided over and participated in more than 30 projects, including National Social Science Foundation, Ministry of Education's Teaching Construction Project, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Humanities Fund, Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission Key Project, Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission’s Scientific Research and Innovation Key Project, Shanghai Municipal Government Key Issues for Consultation, and Scientific Research and Innovation Projects of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, etc.
He has published more than 40 academic papers in Hunan Social Sciences, Shanghai Economic Research, Information Science, and other journals. These papers include The New Economic Form of Optimizing Industrial Structure: A Study on the Micro-operational Mechanism of the Platform Economy and International Cooperation in Education and the Modernization of Higher Education. Additionally, several monographs have been published, including Reform and Exploration: Research on the Development Strategies of Education in Shanghai.
He has received numerous national and provincial-level awards, including the National Teaching Achievement Award (Second Prize), the Special Prize, First, Second, and Third Prizes for Teaching Achievement in Shanghai, the Second and Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress in Shanghai, the Excellent Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences (Internal Discussion) in Shanghai, and the Shanghai Decision Consulting Research Achievement Award.
