Professor Shi has presided over and participated in more than 30 projects, including the National Social Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education's Teaching Construction Project, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Humanities Fund, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission Key Project, the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission’s Scientific Research and Innovation Key Project, and the Shanghai Municipal Government Key Issues for Consultation, projects of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, etc. Professor Shi has published more than 40 academic papers in Hunan Social Sciences, Shanghai Economic Research, Information Science and other journals and published many academic monographs, such as Reform and Exploration: Research on the Countermeasures of Shanghai's Educational Development. He has won a number of national and provincial awards, such as the National Teaching Achievement Prize (2nd class), Shanghai Teaching Achievement Prize (special class, 1st class, 2nd class and 3rd class), Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Prize (2nd class and 3rd class), and Shanghai Philosophy and Society Scientific Outstanding Achievements Award, and Shanghai Decision Consulting Research Achievement Award.
