Secretary Li Jiang stated that the volunteers should have faith in their hearts, and be firm in their beliefs on the way to a strong nation; they should learn and understand, and practice hard on the way of learning; they should be fruitful in their actions, and be down-to-earth on the way to success.

President Yu Tao encouraged volunteers to take the volunteering experience as an opportunity to actively participate in the development of a people-centered city and the nation’s rejuvenation. He urged them to embrace the spirit of  “dare to dream”, “dare to act”, and “dare to contribute”, learning through their service, growing through learning, and making new contributions as they progress.

During the event, SUES leaders came to the Cultural and Creative Pavilion and the site of the Matchmaking Conference for High-Quality Development Elements of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor to encourage the volunteers.

China International Import Expo (CIIE) is not only an important stage to display the image of Chinese youth, but also an important platform for voluntary service practice. The SUES volunteers had interpreted the visible and tangible responsibility for their home country, having practiced in person the duty and mission of the young in the new era.
