Under the leadership of the SUES Labor Union, Staff Table Tennis Association of Shanghai University of Engineering Science is an organization led by the Labor Union of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and formed by the staff table tennis enthusiasts on their own initiative, with 80 members on the register at present. Since its establishment in 2007, the Association has been aiming at “Strengthening Communication, Physical Fitness and Friendship”, persisting daily practice, exchanging skills, carrying out annual table tennis competitions among the staff, occasional friendly table tennis matches with other colleges and universities, and selecting players to participate in table tennis competitions in the city and national education system. The “national ball” sport has been widely popularized, which has strongly enhanced the physical fitness of the staff, enriched their after-school cultural life, and promoted the construction of a harmonious and healthy Campus Culture.
