SUES students won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal in the 2021 China University Taekwondo Championships

On July 20-26, the China University Taekwondo Championships were held at Yancheng Teachers University, Jiangsu. The competition attracted more than 1100 athletes from 138 universities across China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University and Xiamen University. Carrying forwardthe indomitable spirit of struggle, SUES students got 3 golds medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the competition, made a new breakthrough in the national taekwondo competition.

  


Lin Huo from the School of Management Studies won the gold medal in the women’s 55kg division in her first participation in the national Taekwondo Championship; Zhang Jingxuan, a graduate student from the School of Management Studies, successfully defended his title again after winning the national championship in 2017 by winning the gold medal in the men's 68kg division; He Yang from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, who won the championship in the Shanghai University Taekwondo Championship in 2019, got the gold medal in the men's 80kg division; Cui Wenxuan, the captain of the taekwondo team from the School of Management Studies, won the silver medal in the men's 83kg division in his first participation; Qiao Jiani from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the bronze medal in the women's 62kg division.
