School of Art and Design Won Six First Prizes in the National Competition “Milan Design Week 2021 - Exhibition of Excellent Works by Teachers and Students from Chinese Universities in Design”

On June 30, the winners of the National Competition of “Milan Design Week 2021- Exhibition of Excellent Works by Teachers and Students of Chinese Universities in Design” were released. The works submitted by teachers and students from the School of Art and Design of SUES were selected from more than 30,000 works. SUES students and teachers won 6 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 16 third prizes in the National Competition, while winning 10 first prizes, 26 second prizes and 40 third prizes in the Shanghai competition as well.

“Milan Design Week - Exhibition of Excellent Works by Teachers and Students of Chinese Universities in Design” (Milan Design Exhibition for short) has been held since 2016, aiming to build a platform for teachers and students of art and design majors in universities nationwide to showcase their talents and create a highland for international exchange and learning. The event adheres to the concept of “Let works from Chinese universities go abroad”, encourages university teachers and students to actively participate in innovative design, increase experience and exchange, strengthens the professional quality of teachers and students of art and design majors, promotes the innovative development of China's design career and the international connection, thus enabling the world to understand the style of Chinese art and design.
