Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. This program is among the first batch of pilot majors of the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program of the Ministry of Education, and the major of Shanghai Education Highland Construction. It is under accreditation review by ASIIN International. The program is oriented to the development of modern urban railway transportation, focusing on the intersection and integration of mechanical engineering and power electronics technology, automation control technology, and other multidisciplinary disciplines. It emphasizes the teaching of the basic theory of urban railway transportation and knowledge of vehicle engineering and implements the talent training model of 3+1 university-enterprise collaboration, i.e., three years of study in the university and one year of engineering practice and graduation design in enterprises.The program aims to cultivate high-quality talents who master the organization and management of urban railway transportation companies and the knowledge of modern science and technology applied in production. The students will also be able to adapt to the developmental needs of the urban railway vehicle maintenance industry.

Main Courses: Control Theory Basics, Detection and Sensing Technology, Structure and Principle of Urban Railway Vehicle, Electric Traction and Control of Urban Railway Vehicle, Braking Technology of Urban Railway Vehicle, and Train Network Control Technology.

Career Outlook: this program focuses on the integration of mechanical, electronic, electrical, computer control, communication and signal, transportation organization, and other knowledge. It emphasizes the combination and application of basic theory and the characteristics of modern urban railway vehicle technology.
