Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. To meet the needs of China's basic national policy of energy conservation and emission reduction for the training of engineering application-oriented personnel and reflecting the purpose of running a modern engineering application-oriented university, this program adheres to the mode of cooperation in the production, research and development of schools, attaches importance to the coordinated development of knowledge, ability and quality, strengthens the cultivation of innovation consciousness and ability, and pays attention to the intersection and penetration of dynamic engineering, engineering thermophysics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and other disciplines. This program aims to cultivate personal qualities, professional qualities, professional ethics, strong interpersonal communication, and cooperation skills, obtain solid basic theoretical knowledge of natural science, master the field of energy and power engineering, or building environment control and building energy conservation scientific theory and technology, with integrated thinking, engineering reasoning, problem-solving, and management organization skills. The graduates work in the fields of design, management, research and development, installation and operation management in the fields of energy and power engineering or building environment control and building energy conservation. This program includes two branches, one is Energy Engineering and Energy-saving Technology and it focuses on thermal equipment, energy conservation and emission reduction, new energy utilization in the field of research, design, installation, operation, and management capacity training. The other branch is Building Environment Control and Building Energy Conservation and it focuses on building environment control, energy conservation research, design, installation, operation, and management capabilities.
