Program Introduction:It’s a four-year bachelor of engineering degree program. Students in this program study the theory, methods, and engineering applications in the field of electrical engineering, including design, operation, control, communications, and intelligent information processing. The curriculum focuses on quality education, emphasizing the combination of electrical and electronic engineering, components and systems, traditional and emerging, and physical and virtual. It aims to cultivate higher engineering application talents who can adapt to the modern electrical engineering field. This program is a 2+2 cooperative program with the University of Florida, and outstanding students can receive a dual bachelor's degree. This program contains three programs: Smart Grid, Electrical Equipment and Building Electricity, and Urban Power Supply. The Smart Grid program is oriented by new energy generation and smart access technology, smart grid dispatch and control technology, smart grid information, and communication technology. It includes the fields of networking, information, intelligent electrical system production and manufacturing, engineering design, system operation, system analysis, technology development, intelligent electrical equipment operation, maintenance management, intelligent power education, and scientific research. The program of Electrical Equipment and Building Electricity is oriented to the background of electrical equipment in the advanced manufacturing industry and the development of digital city, green and intelligent buildings. It contains areas such as manufacturing, installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance, optimization and control of various electrical equipment, building electrical intelligent design, application, management, and research. The Urban Power Supply program is based on the background of modern urban transmission and distribution systems. It contains areas such as the planning and design of the transmission grid, regulation, simulation computing, and technical management.

Main Courses: Circuits, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Electromagnetic Fields and Electromagnetic Waves, Mechanics, Microcomputer Application Technology, Automatic Control Theory, Power System Analysis, Variable Power Distribution Engineering, Relay Protection Principle, Power Plant Electrical Engineering, Modern Power Electronics, Power Drag Foundation, Electricity Control Technology, High Voltage Technology, Clean Power Energy, Smart Grid Introduction, and other theoretical courses and practical teaching sessions.

Career Outlook: graduates of this program are employed in electrical operation and management, design and scientific research and development of power generation, transmission and distribution, power supply system and smart grid, operation control and management of power supply and distribution and electrical equipment in enterprises and institutions, electrical design of modern urban buildings, operation, maintenance and management of intelligent building electrical systems, and electrical construction and supervision.
