The Third World Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing (WCMEIM 2020) and graduate academic forum was held in the combined form of online and offline from December 4 to 6. The conference was hosted by SUES and cosponsored by Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland, Tencent and Ningbo University. More than 200 scholars and graduate students from six countries including the United States, Japan, Uzbekistan and Niger and from regions including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou attended the conference.
In the sub-forum, experts, scholars and graduate students from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Northwest University of technology and other universities gave near 100 wonderful reports. This conference has built a good academic exchange and communication platform for all participants, shared the latest achievements, closely focused on the hot and difficult issues of intelligent manufacturing, deeply analyzed the core technologies of intelligent manufacturing, exchanged typical cases, promoted academic exchanges and discussions among scientific research institutes, universities and enterprises, and disciplines, and stimulated the academic enthusiasm of graduate students, broaden academic ideas and fields, and promote the scientific and technological innovation of intelligent manufacturing and the development of related fields.
