Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science released the List of Major Projects of National Social Science Foundation to Study and Interpret the Sixth Plenary Session of 19th CPC Central Committee. This is the first time that SUES has ever won the tender of major national social science foundation project, achieving a historic breakthrough. The winning tender belongs to the field of social security. It is Professor Wang Hong's “Mechanism, Effect and Optimization of Promoting Healthy China”.
The National Social Science Foundation includes six categories of funding systems, including major projects, annual projects, special entrusted projects, late-stage funding projects, western China projects, and Chinese academic foreign translation projects. Among them, major projects are of the highest requirements and level, being a measure and an important indicator of the research ability of a university.
Combined with the strategic conception of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee to comprehensively promote a healthy China, this project analyzes the connotation of comprehensively promoting the construction of a healthy China and the interaction mechanism with the economy and society. From the relationship between the construction of a healthy China and the medical system, the optimal allocation of medical resources, the health service system, the emergency management system, and the national healthy lifestyle, this project further analyzes the mechanism of action between the construction of a healthy China and social development, summarizes the implementation effect of comprehensively promoting the construction of a healthy China. It simulates its optimization path, and puts forward the optimization and countermeasures of promoting the construction of healthy China in different time and stages. Promoting the construction of healthy China in an all-round way is a major subject, which fully embodies the historical requirements of national philosophy and social science research and has great theoretical significance and practical value.
