Recently, the 14th Shanghai philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Conference and the 16th (2018) Academic Annual meeting of the Shanghai Social Science Society were held at the Friendship Hall of the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Under the leadership of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and entrusted by the municipal government, the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award is the highest award of the city's philosophy and social sciences, which is selected every two years.After being evaluated by the Shanghai Excellent Achievement Committee for philosophy and Social Sciences, a total of 607 declared achievements were awarded the 14th Shanghai philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Awards, of which, there were 125 theoretical awards for socialism with Chinese characteristics, 438 academic awards for disciplines, and 40 awards for decision-making consultation and social services.
