On December 1st, the signing ceremony of comprehensive strategic cooperation between SUES and CETC Robot Co., Ltd. was held on the 19th floor of the Administration Building. President Yu Tao, Vice Presidents Wang Yansong and Xia Chunming warmly welcomed Shi Jinhao, chairman of CETC Robot Co., Ltd. and his entourage.
President Yu Tao welcomed the arrival of CETC Robot Co., Ltd. He pointed out that the rapid development of SUES is inseparable from the strong support and help of cooperative units, including CETC Robot Co., Ltd. For the cooperation between the two sides, he put forward three hopes: First, we’d better seize development opportunities and jointly serve the country and Shanghai's development strategy; Second, we should continue to deepen the cooperation and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of both sides; and the third is that we should continue to focus on mechanism innovation and promote college-enterprise cooperation to achieve a new leap.
Chairman Shi Jinhao said that this visit is a further continuation and deepening of the cooperation between the enterprise and the University, and the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement has added connotation and expanded the space for the cooperation between the two sides. The advantageous disciplines of SUES and the main business fields of CETC Robot are highly compatible, and it is hoped that the two sides will further base themselves on actual needs, strengthen precise docking, and continuously improve the level and effectiveness of cooperation.
Vice President Wang Yansong said that SUES attaches great importance to the cooperation and exchange with CETC Robot, and the joint scientific and technological research between the two sides will provide important support for Shanghai to build a domestic large-cycle center node, a domestic and international dual-cycle strategic link, and implement the strategy of manufacturing power. It is hoped that the two sides can further strengthen docking, make concerted efforts, seek common development, and contribute wisdom and strength to better serve national and local development.
Vice President Xia Chunming and Deputy General Manager Chen Jie signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of SUES and the enterprise.
Before the ceremony, Chairman Shi Jinhao and his entourage visited Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center of Intelligent Manufacturing Robot Technology for Large Components and the Boeing 737-800 simulator project. Representatives of the Presidents’ Office, Office of External Relations, Office of Scientific Research, Office of Graduate Studies, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and School of Materials Science and Engineering attended the event.
