Recently, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission issued a notice that 17 courses in SUES including “Transportation of China” course were recognized as first-class undergraduate courses in Shanghai higher education institutions in 2022.
SUES has been attaching great importance to the construction of courses, especially the comprehensive construction of golden courses, with a series of training regularly held on the construction and application of first-class courses every year, thus encouraging teachers to actively participate in the development of first-class courses and apply their advanced educational concepts, high-quality teaching resources and innovative teaching methods to the practice and reform of education to continuously improve their teaching quality.
From 2020 to 2022, a total of 37 courses at SUES have been recognized as first-class undergraduate courses at universities in Shanghai. SUES will fully exploit the role of demonstration and guidance of first-rate courses, further enhance the incentive mechanism of course development, optimize the management and evaluation of courses, promote the overall quality of courses with teaching reforms, so as to further boost the quality of talent cultivation to a new level.
