On the afternoon of February 14, all the school leaders led the Party Committee office, President’s office, Scientific Research Department, Clothing College, China France Eiffel Fashion Design College and relevant departments and college deans to go to Shanghai Textile Corporation (abbreviated to textile corporation below) to have a communication meeting as to cooperation in production, study and research and to discuss the development plan over how to deepen cooperation between enterprise and school.Xi Shiping, Director of Boards of Textile Corporation, Tong Jisheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhu Yong, President, Liu Ping, Shen Yaoqing, Cheng Ying, Vice President, Hu Shenwei, Technology Supervisor and leaders of relevant departments attended the meeting.
President Zhu Yong first introduced the overall development situation of their corporation in 2013 and cooperation with our school in scientific research, postgraduate development, cooperative education in production and study, student scholarship grant and so on, and he said that under the new round of cooperation agreement, they would continue to strengthen their cooperation with SUES in terms of postgraduate development basis construction, national engineering practice education center construction, postgraduate advanced subject system construction, innovation research forum promotion, subject topic solution, academic cooperation and communication, and clothing brand construction and designers development, consistently broadening professional cooperation fields and joining together to develop high-quality talents. When introducing our school’s education characteristics, technological innovation, talent development and student employment, the school leaders pointed out that the school’s development could not be separated from the support of enterprise and Textile Corporation had provided great support for our school’s development, fully embodying the high sense of responsibility of the enterprise and our school was very grateful for that! The year 2014 is a year of reform, in which our school will fully promote complete credit system reform and engineering education comprehensive reform and some other reforms. The school sets talent development as the main goal, making great efforts to make talent development in school combine with talent demand of industry development, engineer skill development combine with teaching quality, technology reform combine with innovative talent development, which is three combinations between enterprise and school, workshop and classroom, technological innovation and talent development. So the school hopes to be supported as before by Textile Corporation in subject research, national engineering practice center construction, excellent engineer education development plan and so on and the two sides may make mutual efforts to develop as many as possible comprehensive talents of “understanding art, being skillful, good at management and learning about the market”, who can satisfy market demands. Meanwhile the school will take advantage of the opportunity of Shanghai clothing creative design and digital technology public research development service platform to strengthen cooperation and communication in intelligent workshop and intelligent factory, clothing creative design and manufacture, combine closely present technology with current demands, take the road of joint innovation and provide the society with intelligent and technological support.
