Research Fields
Li Chunxiao graduated in China Academy of Art with the Bachlor’s Degree in Fashion Design, and then obtained the Master’s Degree in Art & Design in Shanghai Donghua University, the Master’s Degree in Accessory Design in Italy Istituto Marangoni, and is studying for the Doctor’s Degree in China Academy of Art. She is an associate professor in Sino-French Institute of Fashion Designer (IFA), and also invited to teach in China Academy of Art. As a senior fashion designer, she works as design consultant in Zhejiang Red Dragonfly Co.Ltd. and GIUSEPPE Co. Ltd., and used to work as accessory designer in the Swiss Design Center of German brand Hugoboss.
Research Achievements
Prof. Li has published many academic papers both on teaching and scientific research, and quite a few specialized books on design, and obtained nearly ten Patents for Utility Model. She is one of the main researchers in the project team, which won the second prize of Teaching Achievement Awards issued by Shanghai Education Commission, and has led and participated in plenty of research projects in Humanitiesand Social Sciences at the municipal level. Prof. Li stated the establishment of “Accessory Creative Development Center” in 2009, providing fashion trends forecast and product designfor companies, and has applied the achievement of industry-university cooperation to scientific research and the improvement of teaching effect.
