Being Director of Fashion Design Department at University of Ulsan, Professor Lee has been dedicated to the research of clothing fashion for over twenty years, making great achievements in the field of clothing design, Korean traditional costume culture research and other related fields. She has published several books and a number of research articles on international periodicals and Korean high-level core academic journals. Professor Lee is also an expert at traditional Korean clothing-the production process of Hanbok. Professor Lee employs comparative analysis to give lessons by collecting relevant materials, which is beneficial to cooperation and exchange in teaching and research between the schools of fashion in two universities. Meanwhile Professor Lee actively promotes the doctoral program (textile, garment and dyeing) which is to be jointly developed by Fashion Schools of both SUES and University of Ulsan.
