Research Fields
Yang Yang’s major research area is information and communication engineering and her research interest is in the audio signal and information processing. She has worked in information hiding techniques and speaker recognition area, and presented a digital audio watermarking algorithm based on improved DCT coefficient quantization technique, which is a novel algorithm in multiple watermarking system area ,and a stable watermarking algorithm using genetic algorithm to search the optimal embedding location of watermarking, , which can improve the robustness of watermarking remarkably. These two research results have positive meaning in enrichment and improvement of digital products' copyright protection, and have an extensive application prospect. She also presented a new method to improve speech enhancement technique based on singular value decomposition , which has a better effect in speech distortion and residual noise.
